Release Notes for Nambu OS X Version 1.9.2.6b

Feature Additions

• Added support for showing larger sized versions of the shared Twitpic images within Nambu.
• Added fix for ttp:// typos within tweets, such that Nambu will now fix it, linking it properly as the sending user intended.
• Added proper sizing and positioning of yFrog and Twitgoo image thumbnails that are now displayed inline.
• Added application gear menu to combined and multicolumn views for view specific preferences and settings.
• Updated the application gear menus to use checkmarks to indicate application preferences for showing Trends or Twitter sources within tweets. This caused the current preference for this to be reset to the default, which is *not* a bug.
• Set a new maximum width for Nambu’s combined and outline views.
• Added option to open all links to the tweet context and gear menu.
• Reorganized Twitter account settings into multiple sections for many more preference options to come for each Twitter account setup within Nambu.

Bug Fixes

• Fix a URL shortening bug on extracting the full URL from tweet composition that had punctuation within the query string.
• Fixed display bug for icons in multicolumn view column selection popup buttons.
• Fixed a display mismatch for started and duration times on Twitter trends because of server/computer timestamp discrepancies.

• Significantly increased performance when displaying a lot of messages at once. This greatly affects, for example, loading message history when opening a window or loading a lot of Twitter messages at once.
  • This only applies to styles which do not override the Template.html file, as the improvements were made there.
  • If you see any weird behavior with message display, please let us know.
• In the contact list, pressing left-arrow when selecting an item will select its parent item if it’s not expanded, like Finder.
• Added %serviceIconPath% keyword to statuses and messages, fixed %statusIconImg% in header not working for IRC, Facebook, Twitter, etc. (#12697,#12665)
• Added %senderColor% keyword to header replacements. (#12666)
